    The interactive website aims to educate entertain both kids and adult on bodily health; understanding the human anatomical structure is just part of the process. The Virtual Body takes you on four tours – The Human Brain, Skeleton, Human Heart, and Digestive Tract. Then there are some cool standalone tours within each.

    eSkeletons isn’t only about understanding human anatomy. It is an interactive comparative tool that enables a student to view the bones of both human and non-human primates and to learn more about them from the site’s anatomical database.

    This one is not a fully fledged anatomical course, but a cool and short 10 question quiz on different body parts. It is a Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History resource. With a mouse rollover you have to match the thumbnail with its location on the skeletal structure named ‘Jerome’. You can also turn Jerome around for another view. ‘Jerome’ is actually a papier-mâché anatomical model preserved in the institute.

    Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.
    Scale of the Universe
    This cool update to an old tool lets you scroll from the size of a person and head out into space – viewing the solar system, galaxy and eventually the entire universe. Or zoom smaller and smaller down to sub atomic particles. This new version is clickable – and tells you a litle more about the different planets and objects you can see as you drag the slider to view bigger or smaller objects.

The sky map interactive chart is useful for both amateur and professional astronomers. There are options you can pick to view the skies.     Gigagalaxy Zoom shows the full sky as it appears to the unaided eye. The second zoom view is of one that appears with a hobby telescope. The final zoom level reveals the details of an iconic nebula. The idea behind the project is to serve as an aid for the untrained observer when he (or she) looks up at the night sky without the help of a telescope. The ultra-high resolution zoom levels can be used as a visual aid.
